Who this policy is for

This policy applies when you create or use a GreetaBook customer account to view, book, reschedule, or cancel visits at participating businesses. If you only called or texted a business's Greeta Voice assistant and never installed GreetaBook, see the website Customer Privacy Policy. Business owners are covered by the Business Privacy Policy.

Who is responsible for your data

J.A.P TECH CONSULTING LLC is the controller for your GreetaBook login identity, app profile, sessions, language preference, one-time sign-in challenges, and deletion or opt-out records.

Each participating business is the controller for its own appointment and customer records, including services, staff, times, prices, status, and related customer relationship records. Greeta processes those records as a service provider on the business's instructions. Requests about a particular visit usually go first to that business.

Information GreetaBook collects

  • Account and profile: United States mobile phone number, first and last name, optional email address, preferred app language, and secure session identifiers.
  • Authentication: short-lived SMS one-time-code challenges. We retain a one-way digest for verification rather than the readable code as profile data.
  • Appointments: linked businesses, service and staff selections, dates, times, duration, displayed price, booking status, and booking, reschedule, or cancellation requests.
  • App operation: API requests, security and abuse-prevention signals, and error logs needed to operate and protect the service.
  • On-device settings: color theme and local appointment reminder preferences. These settings remain on the device.

GreetaBook does not collect payment card or bank-account details, does not contain advertising, and does not record calls. The app is not intended for protected health information.

How we use information

  • Authenticate your account using an SMS one-time code.
  • Show visits and connected businesses.
  • Create, reschedule, or cancel appointments when the business permits it.
  • Keep your name, email, and language preference consistent with the customer records used to provide the service.
  • Schedule local appointment reminders when you enable them.
  • Secure the service, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, comply with law, and honor deletion or opt-out choices.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use identifiable visit content from GreetaBook to train general-purpose AI models.

How information is shared

  • With participating businesses to provide and manage your visits.
  • With contracted service providers needed for cloud hosting and delivery of one-time SMS codes.
  • With a booking or operations system already used by a participating business, on that business's instructions.
  • When required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a lawful corporate transaction.

Security

Data sent between GreetaBook and our service is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Session tokens are stored using Android Keystore or iOS Keychain-backed secure storage. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

Retention and deletion

  • GreetaBook identity and profile: retained while the account exists.
  • Sessions: retained until sign-out, expiry (generally about 30 days), or account deletion.
  • OTP challenges: retained until used or expired (generally about 10 minutes).
  • Operational API and error logs: generally retained for up to 90 days.
  • Business appointment and CRM records: retained by the participating business under its policies and legal duties. Deleting GreetaBook does not automatically erase those records.
  • Opt-out record: if you choose hard deletion, we retain a one-way hash of the phone number so that a GreetaBook identity is not recreated.

You can delete your GreetaBook identity and profile in the app from Profile → Delete Greeta account after fresh SMS verification. You can also start a request outside the app using our GreetaBook account deletion page.

For access, correction, or deletion of only some information, email legal@greetavoice.com. For records controlled by a participating business, contact that business; we will coordinate where required.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your U.S. state, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information and to limit certain uses of sensitive information. We do not sell personal information or share it for behavioral advertising. Email legal@greetavoice.com to submit a request. We may verify control of the GreetaBook phone number by SMS and will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children

GreetaBook is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13. If a parent or guardian books for a minor, the participating business is responsible for that customer relationship. Contact us if you believe a child has created an account.

United States service

The current app is built for United States phone numbers (+1). Hosting and processing may occur in the United States.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post a new last-updated date. Material changes may require acceptance in the app.
