Delete a GreetaBook account

This page explains how to request deletion of your GreetaBook customer account and the app data controlled by J.A.P TECH CONSULTING LLC, doing business as Greeta Voice / GreetaBook.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open GreetaBook and sign in.
2. Open Profile.
3. Select Delete Greeta account.
4. Complete the fresh SMS verification requested by the app.
5. Review the deletion choices, confirm, and select Delete my account.

You may choose ordinary deletion or hard deletion / opt-out. Ordinary deletion permits a GreetaBook identity to be created again if a participating business later books a visit using the same phone number. Hard deletion keeps a one-way suppression record so the identity is not recreated.

Start a deletion request outside the app

Email legal@greetavoice.com with the subject GreetaBook account deletion request and include the phone number associated with the account, including the +1 country code.

We will verify that you control the phone number, normally using a one-time SMS code. Never send an SMS verification code by email. After verification, tell us whether you want ordinary deletion or hard deletion / opt-out.

Data deleted with the GreetaBook account

• Your GreetaBook login identity and app profile, including your name and optional email.
• Active GreetaBook sessions and session tokens.
• Unused or active authentication challenges associated with the identity.

Deletion is processed after successful verification, subject to short technical processing time and legal exceptions.

Data that may be retained

• Appointment and CRM records controlled by a participating business are not automatically deleted with the GreetaBook identity. Contact that business to request deletion of its records. The business may retain records required for transactions, disputes, tax, safety, or other legal duties.
• Operational security and error logs may be retained for up to 90 days.
• Hard deletion / opt-out: a one-way hash of the phone number is retained to prevent recreation of the GreetaBook identity. The readable phone number is not retained in that suppression record.
• Limited information may be retained when required by law, to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce rights.

Request deletion of selected data without deleting the account

You may request access, correction, or deletion of selected GreetaBook profile information by emailing legal@greetavoice.com. For appointment or customer records controlled by a participating business, contact that business directly. We will coordinate when both sets of records are involved.
